The Z09 is a high-end integrated UHF RFID reader built around an Impinj R2000 RF chip and a 9 dBi circularly polarized antenna, reaching a read range of up to 23 m. It supports EPCglobal UHF Class 1 Gen 2 / ISO 18000-6C and delivers dense multi-tag reading of more than 400 tags/s. Onboard RS232 and 100 Mbps Ethernet simplify system integration, while the ABS engineering-plastic housing with lightning protection and an IP54 rating suits outdoor industrial use. Tags can be encrypted so other readers return garbled data, adding confidentiality.
